The Magnitogorsk metallurgical combine plans construction of a steel foundry in Ohio

The government of state of Ohio achieves, that the largest enterprise of ferrous metallurgy of Russia - Magnitogorsk metallurgical combine (MMK) - has constructed the Russian steel foundry in cost about billion dollars in territory of this American state, the largest newspaper Plain Dealer leaving in Clevelend in Ohio informs.

According to the edition to which RIA of News refers, the factory is planned to put on coast of the river Ohio in area Haverhill in 30 kilometers from Portsmouth. In department of economic development of the government of staff the newspaper managed to re ceive copies of correspondence by e-mail and other documents concerning a preparing project. Chairman of operating advice - local authority - Skioto Mike Krebtri - has confirmed counties, that the Magnitogorsk metallurgical combine searches for a platform in east part of territory of a county nearby to Haverhilla. As he said, can pass some months before the transaction will be concluded.
