Siberian Coal Energy Company (SUEK) is one of the leaders in the global coal industry, and the largest producer of coal in Russia. SUEK is one of the top 10 global producers and exporters of coal: It is No. 1 in Russia and No. 6 in the world in terms of production – 107.8 million tons in 2017.The automated industrial safety management system VG Safety is installed and in operation at all of the company's coal-mining and coal-processing enterprises. Monitoring and analysis of the detection, identification and timely elimination of security violations is constantly being conducted at these enterprises. The efficiency of the system is evaluated using he number of repeated violations and the coefficient of their elimination. The software package is integrated with the ERP system and the personnel and equipment dispatching systems. More than 9000 people use the automated industrial safety management system VG Safety in their everyday work.

Tasks

  • Creating and applying a modern automated tool for industrial safety management

  • Automating the basis for operational management of production and providing officials with operational information for creating links between work carried out by production units and third-party organisations, with the goal of meeting planned targets while ensuring a safe working environment

  • Organizing operational work, including line personnel, in order to guarantee effective production control and improve the Industrial Safety Management System (ISMS)
